Two notes of warning…
1. Goji berries are also high in calories, so they should be eaten in small amounts; ‘to taste’ as we like to refer to it…
2. Drinking Goji juice products such as Mona Vie are not the same as eating the actual whole food in it’s natural form..the juice is processed and typically comes with added sugars whether natural (fructose) or unnatural (refined) & this ALSO adds calories and sugar in quantities healthy bodies don’t need, so be mindful – too much sugar refined or natural drags down our immune systems & adds to stored fat
Pick some up goji berries in their natural whole form at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods Market & sprinkle them over your next salad or add them to a nice light organic yogurt dressing in small quantities like we enjoyed last evening over steamed brocolli – YUM! :o)
